Vol. 6, Issue 4
Pinewood Derby
A special friend from the North delivered the best gift a cub scout can get.....a block of wood.
Before you start changing that block of wood into the greatest spectacle ever seen on the track, please be sure to read....then re-read the rules. The rules are found here as well as some great tips on how to build your car. Please reach out and ask if you are unsure of whether or not something you plan to do to your car meets these rules.
*Cars not adhering to the rules will not be allowed to race! Please don't let your scouts hard work go to waste because the rules were not read.
The pack also offers a open class. This is designed for any non-cubscout, any age, to design and race a car.
Race Day: Sunday January 25th
Location: Beecher Center
Time: Check-in starts at 11am, race will begin when all cars have been checked in and the track is ready
We are also looking for some families to volunteer some baked goods to sell among the concessions for dessert options!
