RECHARTER
Most of you should have received an email notice about re-charter fees due to National and Council. Those of you who may have joined at a later point in the school year will be receiving your notice around the same time of the year.
The annual portion of $170 is now paid directly through my.scouting.org for your youth based on their registration dates.
Beginning 60 days before their expiration date, all currently registered Leaders and parents of registered Scouts will receive communication from the National Council that will prompt them to renew their registration. To renew this way, simply:
Click on the link in the email, which will take you to my.Scouting.org to renew their registration. Navigate to My Application, on the home screen or click the red notification button in the top right-hand corner.
Follow the steps to renew and pay your annual registration in just a few clicks.
Important Reminders
Parents will have to have or create a My.Scouting.org account to complete this process.
For parents with multiple Scouts, they will only need to create one account as my.Scouting.org has already linked their Member ID with all of their children registered in Scouts. If parents discover this has not happened or have other issues, please contact Three Fires Council at 630-584-9250 or tfcregistrar@Scouting.org
Pack Dues are still paid to Pack 350. They will be collected starting at December pack night. More details on that amount to come in the near future.
Scout account funds can be used to pay either of these fees. You will need to submit a reimbursement request for the National/Council fees paid.
Popcorn! - Thank you for a successful season!
Our popcorn fundraiser is just about to wrap up! Any last minute orders are due ASAP, and any unsold popcorn still checked out by scouts needs to either be paid for or turned back into the pack so we can reconcile with Three Fires Council. Over the next 2 meetings, we will be handing out prizes to the scouts, pie-ing leaders, and informing parents of how much their scouts earned for their scout accounts, as well as how that affects your dues. Thank you all for a successful popcorn season to keep our pack running!
Because of the effort our pack has made over the season, we have decided to provide the scouts with a pizza party as part of the November pack night. We will try to have it available by 6pm, so we can enjoy the pizza before officially opening the meeting. Thank you all!

Veterans Day
This year Sunday, November 9th, will be the annual celebration at the Legion to honor Veterans with a formal Flag Retirement Ceremony.
This is a truly special event for our Veterans and the Legion. YOUR participation in the ceremony adds to the reverence of the day.
HOW?
Fold a Flag to be retired with a Veteran: Showing the US flag deep respect is very important to Veterans. For many it is a symbol of why they served. Ask them what the flag means to them and listen to the response.
Provide service with a smile and helpful hand: Clear plates, clean tables, take out the trash. These are just a few suggestions on how you can thank the volunteers of the legion.
Wear your FULL Class A: When we wear our uniforms we are not just representing Scouting but we also represent the Legion as our charter organization. The Legion is proud to charter us and views us as members at large. Wearing your uniform says you are proud of the Legion as well.
Regardless if this would be your first or your tenth, the reverence never fades.
Details:
Arrive in uniform around 9:00am to fold flags with veterans. Any scouts present, in uniform will have breakfast provided by the Legion. Scouts will gather around 10:30 a.m. to discuss the ceremony, and the flag retirement ceremony will begin at 11 a.m.
