Vol. 8, Issue 1
1st Pack night of the school year!
Wednesday, September 9th is our first pack night of the new scouting year! It is our first time coming together since the 4th of July, and we will be catching up after our summer activities.
There will be a lot of information about the upcoming year in scouting, and some fun back-to-scouting activities for our scouts to participate in.
Den meetings should be starting up the following week, and we're all looking forward to a great new season of scouting!
Popcorn! - Scouts needed for storefront sales!
It's Popcorn season again! All families should have received an email from Mr. Jon Dackow regarding their scout's Trails end account, how to set up a new scout account in the app, and a reminder that storefronts for popcorn sales are already open to claim. Please check for this email in order to get started. Your scout's sales go not only towards helping fund our pack program for the year, but they can also help to offset the cost of dues and special activities (Like Dozin with the Dinos!).

Get ready for a weekend packed with adventure, memories, and celebration as we gather at Camp Big Timber to mark an incredible milestone—100 years of camping, friendship, and tradition!
This special anniversary campout will bring together units from across the council for a one-of-a-kind Cub Scout weekend that blends classic favorites with a few exciting new activities created just for the occasion. Whether you’re competing in traditional skills events, trying something brand new, or simply enjoying the spirit of camp, there will be something for everyone.
Step back in time by visiting our temporary Camp Big Timber Museum, where displays of photos, stories, and memorabilia will share reflections from generations of campers who have made Big Timber what it is today.
Saturday morning kicks off with a Grand Opening ceremony, setting the stage for a full day of activities and fun. Later in the day, gather with friends old and new as we cut the cake and celebrate 100 years of Camp Big Timber—a century of adventures worth cheering about!
Cooking is on your own with your Pack, but you may pre-order a lunch when you register. Pre-Ordered Lunch includes an all-beef hot dog OR grilled cheese, bag of chips, drink, and a cookie for $6.
As night falls on Saturday, join us for a special patriotic campfire honoring not only the camp’s 100th anniversary, but also the 250th anniversary of the United States. Bring a song, skit, poem, or story to share. Let’s fill the evening with inspiring moments, great songs, and the kind of campfire memories that have been part of Big Timber for generations.
This is more than a campout, it’s a chance to celebrate the past, enjoy the present, and look ahead to the next century of camping at Camp Big Timber.
